CHALLENGE: U.S. Foodservice is the second largest foodservice distributor in the country with over 28,000 employees. In 2004, the company added a new internal ethics and compliance department. This department's first action was to implement the most recent ethics and compliance policies. The Code of Conduct had to state their policies in a manner that the material would actually be read by management and associates.

SOLUTION: Regardless of their individual role in the company, every employee works to assist the food service industry.
